How YouFast VPN is put together

01

A subscription from any provider

Add a subscription link and every server in it lands in the list. Expiry and remaining traffic show in the card whenever the provider reports them. The list is re-read at launch and refreshed in the background.

02

Every server in one list

Each server shows its ping. Switching between them is one tap.

Connection

A native macOS app. Connect-on-login is a setting. If the connection drops, the app reconnects on its own and restarts the tunnel when it has to.

Xray underneath

The app runs on the Xray core and supports VLESS with all of its parameters. The settings include Fake DNS and TLS fragmentation for getting past DPI blocking.

Three steps, once

Set it up once, on first launch.

  1. 01

    Install

Download the app and move it to Applications. macOS asks once to allow the VPN configuration.

  2. 02

    Add your subscription

Paste a key, a subscription link, or a JSON config from the clipboard — a config file copied in Finder works too.

  3. 03

    Connect

One button. Status, throughput and remaining quota all sit on the same screen.

macOS today, the rest next

The macOS build is finished and handed out here. iOS, Windows and Android are being written, and all of them will understand the same keys and subscription links.

macOS

Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel, requires macOS 14.6 or later. Signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarised by Apple, so the system opens it without an unidentified-developer warning.

What you can check

Every point below can be checked without our help.

  • The servers belong to whoever sold you the subscription

If that is a YouFast VPN subscription, they are ours. If it is anyone else's, the traffic goes nowhere near us and we cannot see it: the app does not report back to us about what you connected to.

  • This site sets no cookies

No cookies, no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, and the fonts are served from this domain. One exception: page views and load times go to Vercel Analytics. It sets nothing and stores no identifier. Open the network tab and count.

Before you download

Do I need a YouFast subscription to use the app?

No. The app accepts keys and subscriptions from any provider. A YouFast subscription is one option among many.

Is YouFast VPN a service or an app?

Both. YouFast VPN is our VPN service; it sells subscriptions and has its own site. The app you download here was built first for its subscribers, but it is a general-purpose client: other people's keys work in it exactly the same way, with nothing held back.

What can I add to it?

A VLESS key, a subscription link, or a JSON config via the clipboard — a config file copied in Finder works too. When a subscription contains several servers, all of them appear in the list, along with its expiry date and traffic allowance where the provider reports them.

Does the server list update itself?

Yes. A subscription is re-read every time the app launches, checked again in the background after that, and there is a refresh button for whenever you want it now.

I sell VPN subscriptions. Can my customers use this?

Yes, and that is deliberate. The app does not check where a key came from, and there is nothing to whitelist. Point your customers at this page.

Why macOS first?

It is the platform we could ship properly first. iOS, Windows and Android are being written now, and they will understand the same keys and subscription links.

Why is it not in the App Store?

The macOS build is handed out directly from this site, so an update lands the day it is ready, without waiting on review. The app is signed and notarised with Apple, so the system opens it without warnings, and updates arrive as delta patches — a few megabytes instead of installing the whole thing again.

What does the app cost?

Nothing, and it will stay that way. What you pay for, if anything, is a subscription: ours, or the one you already use.

The client is free

The money comes from subscriptions. Download it, add whatever subscription you already have, and if you never buy anything from us it will work exactly the same.
